TERMS OF USE

1. Acceptance

  • By creating an account or using WECL — World Extreme Combat League ("WECL", "we"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy.
  • If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the platform.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to register. Athletes aged 16–17 may only compete in the juvenile category.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

3. Account and subscription

  • Ranking eligibility requires an active subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe (international) or AbacatePay (Brazil); WECL never receives or stores your card or PIX data.
  • Subscriptions renew according to the plan you choose. You can cancel at any time from the athlete portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • We may suspend or block accounts that violate these terms. Blocked accounts lose access to login and to the athlete portal.

4. Fight submissions

  • Every fight you submit must be real and must include verifiable evidence (video and/or scorecards). You may attach between 1 and 10 evidence links per fight.
  • You may not submit fabricated results, fights against your own profiles, or evidence you do not have the right to share.
  • All submissions enter a moderation queue. WECL reviews and may approve or reject any submission. Only approved fights generate ranking points.
  • Title and championship flags are assigned by WECL during moderation — they cannot be self-declared.

5. Rankings

  • Rankings are produced from approved fights using WECL's scoring methodology and are published as monthly snapshots.
  • WECL is the independent ranking authority and has final discretion over scoring, eligibility windows, divisions and the inclusion of any result.
  • Rankings are informational. They do not constitute a sanctioning body, sporting license or professional record.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to manipulate rankings, falsify evidence, impersonate other athletes, or interfere with the platform's operation or security.
  • Do not upload unlawful, infringing or abusive content.

7. Your content

  • You keep ownership of the profile information and evidence you submit. You grant WECL a licence to display your athlete name, division, record and approved results on public ranking pages and snapshots while your profile is active.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any evidence you link.

8. Disclaimers and liability

  • The platform is provided "as is", without warranties of availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • To the extent permitted by law, WECL is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

9. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from the portal — the deletion action anonymizes your account as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for protection of the platform and its users.

10. Changes and contact

  • We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date below.
